- Develop spatial strategies, masterplanning concepts and architectural propositions.
- Analyse relationships between built form, landscape, infrastructure, mobility, programme and public realm.
- Translate research and quantitative and qualitative findings into spatial and architectural strategies.
- Produce high-quality analytical drawings, diagrams, mappings, models and presentations.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary workshops and design processes involving specialist consultants and project stakeholders.
- Work closely with the principal and project team in developing projects from strategic analysis through design.
- Contribute to the continued development of Tagānos’ architectural and territorial methodologies.
Profile
- Professional degree in Architecture, Urban Design or a closely related discipline.
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant professional experience, with demonstrated experience in architecture, urban design or masterplanning.
- Exceptional design and spatial reasoning capabilities.
- Strong understanding of urban morphology, programme, public realm and landscape/infrastructure relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Grasshopper and GIS is an advantage.
- Ability to work analytically and conceptually across scales, from territory to architecture.
- Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience in Egypt, the Middle East or comparable development contexts is advantageous but not essential.

- Support the identification of spatial relationships, discontinuities and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with architectural and urban design teams to translate analytical findings into spatial strategies.
- Develop reproducible analytical workflows using GIS, scripting and computational tools.
- Explore responsible applications of AI and machine-assisted analysis within territorial research while maintaining rigorous verification of data and outputs.
Profile
- Degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, Urban Analytics, Data Science or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in QGIS and/or ArcGIS.
- Experience working with spatial databases and heterogeneous geospatial datasets.
- Knowledge of Python, GeoPandas, PostGIS, remote sensing or Google Earth Engine is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and visual communication skills.
- Ability to move between quantitative evidence and spatial interpretation.
- Interest in architecture, urban development and the relationship between physical territory and data.
- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
